Lea Dowling
Senior Vice President, Commercial BankerWith Synovus since 2007, Lea Dowling holds a degree in Operations Management from the University of Alabama. She enjoys waking up every day to serve her clients and treat them by the “platinum rule”—not only the way she wants to be treated, but the way they would want to be treated. “Respect, fairness, sincerity and excellence,” she says. “I am grateful for the opportunity to work with businesses and families in our communities to exceed their expectations daily.” When not working, she enjoys time with her husband and two sons, and anything to do with traveling, fishing, and fashion.

Blake Thrasher
Commercial BankerBlake joined Synovus in 2021, bringing more than two decades of financial services experience. A native of Dallas, TX, Blake expertly matches Synovus clients to the tools and products they need to help their businesses grow. Blake’s career in banking began at the University of Alabama, where he studied finance while playing guard for the Crimson Tide. His love of basketball, and Alabama, continues to this day. When he is not teaching the next generation the finer points of the game, he and his wife, Jennifer, enjoy traveling with their three sons.
