Shane Walley

Senior Vice President, Rome Market President

Shane joined Synovus as senior vice president in 2023, bringing more than a decade of banking experience in commercial business and consumer lending. While in his former role, he led a regional bank's office to increased CRA loan production and HELOC production. However, for Shane, banking “means more than numbers.” The Rome native finds true purpose and satisfaction in helping Synovus' business clients succeed. “If I can continue to give back and help others get to where they want to be in life, then I’ve accomplished my goal.” Shane lives at the heart of our Rome community with his wife and two daughters and enjoys golf, snow skiing, and fly fishing in his spare time.

Bill Davies

Market Executive, Northwest Georgia

Bill is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services. Before joining Synovus, he worked at BB&T and Truist, managing corporate relationships with businesses in several industry verticals ranging from manufacturing to commercial real estate.

Having served the Northwest Georgia market his entire career, Bill’s knowledge of the area is invaluable, providing his team with the insights needed to build the right solutions for their clients. Under his leadership, Synovus will continue to grow its presence in Northwest Georgia and help position our clients and the communities we serve for success.
