By donating $5, you can purchase a box of food that will feed a family for up to five days. We are raising money to help feed hungry families in support of the Action Ministries' Feed the Hungry food box initiative. For every $5 donation made at one of our 40 branches in the Atlanta area, a food box is supplied to a family in need through the Action Ministries network.
Georgia is among the top 10 states with the highest rate of poverty in the country, according to the U.S. Census. Action Ministries mobilizes communities to address the challenges of poverty by focusing on hunger relief, housing and education. Last year, nearly 127,000 individuals in need were served across North Georgia and many more lives changed by Action Ministries.
