V. Allen Whitley

Allen joined Synovus in 2010, spending nine years as a banker, most recently in the Private Wealth Management group.  In 2019, he joined the team as a third financial advisor.  Allen holds a BBA degree in finance from Georgia Southern University and an MBA from Auburn University.

Allen has obtained the Series 7 and Series 66 brokerage licenses, as well as life, disability, health, and variable products insurance licenses.  In 2020, Allen became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Allen, his wife, and daughter are active members of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, where Allen has served as a deacon, member of the missions and finance committees, and small group leader.  He has also served on the boards of Open Door Community House, Clement Arts, Young Professionals, Columbus Botanical Garden, and Young Life.
