Allen Curry

Allen has been a resident of Mt. Pleasant all his life, graduating from Porter-Gaud in 1975 and the College of Charleston in 1979 with a BS in Business Administration. His career as a Financial Advisor began with Merrill Lynch in 1993 and continued with other firms including JC Bradford and Prudential Securities before joining Synovus Securities, Inc in 2002.

Allen focuses on helping a select group of families manage their financial needs, ranging from estate and retirement planning to college funding and everywhere in between.  In addition to fundamental planning issues, Allen often utilizes advance risk management tactics and multi-generational, legacy wealth transfer strategies.

To maintain some order of work-life balance, Allen enjoys fly fishing, golfing, sporting clays, and waterfowl hunting. He also enjoys singing and has been a member of the Charleston Men’s Chorus for more than fifteen years.
