All customers enrolled in Synovus Online Banking as of February 20 will move to My Synovus on February 23, 2019.

  • Check your balances and set up balance and transaction alerts. Securely transfer funds between your accounts at Synovus and other financial institutions.1,2
  • Send money1 to friends, family—even the babysitter—with Pay People.3 Just enroll in online banking, and follow the quick steps on the Payments tab to start paying people online or through mobile banking. You have options to send or request money4 at no charge using the other party’s email, mobile number5 or bank account—all with a few clicks or taps. You can even request next-day payment6 and include a customized greeting.
  • Enroll in Bill Pay,7 and simplify monthly and recurring bill payments in just a few steps. You can securely send standard payments for free and with unlimited access. There are also plenty of options to set up automatic payments, enable E-bills from participating companies, create and view reminders, and view billing history or pending payments.

ATM Banking

The branch is never closed with ATM Banking. Synovus ATMs offer a better, faster way to bank on your schedule. You can do all of the basics like get cash or check balances—plus, we offer additional convenient features.10 Go beyond simple cash withdrawals and balance inquiries, and enjoy a host of additional benefits:

Make paperless deposits

  • No envelopes or deposit slips required
  • Insert up to 50 bills or 30 checks at one time; the machine does the math for you.
  • Review deposit amounts and check images on screen before completing transaction
  • Check images are included on your receipt

Change your PIN

  • Set or change your Personal Identification Number (PIN) at any Synovus ATM

  1. Account Transaction Limitations for Savings and Money Market Accounts — Savings and Money Market accounts may have no more than six (6) debit transactions per month or monthly statement cycle. A debit transaction is a check, debit/check card transaction, transfer, or pre-authorized transfer, including those made by phone or modem. Unlimited transactions are permitted if made by the customer in person, by mail, through an ATM or by phone if the check is mailed to the customer. If an account continually exceeds the allowed debit transactions, we may convert it to a checking account.  Back
  2. Individual, daily, and monthly transfer limits apply and will be described within the External Transfers service. Fees may apply for transfers to another financial institution. Back
  3. Individual, daily, and monthly payment limits apply and are described within the Pay People service in Synovus Online Banking. In addition, you must have at least $100 remaining in your account following any payment. Pay People payments sent through Synovus Mobile Banking to an email address must be less than $100 per payment.

Please note: The Synovus Mobile Banking App is available for eligible consumer accounts and can be downloaded at no cost. Message and data rates may apply. Minimum system requirements: Android OS v2.2 and higher or Apple iOS 5.0 and higher are supported.

  6. Qualification Requirements for Next-Day Payments: Generally payments are delivered three business days after acceptance by recipients. To qualify for Next-Day Payments, all Pay People transactions in the past 90 days must have been completed successfully with no instances of nonsufficient funds. These qualification rules are based on your Popmoney activity and are not tied to your general account activity outside of this service. Back

Deposits may not be available for immediate withdrawal. Deposits made before 7 p.m. ET on business days are generally available the next business day, but may take up to three business days depending on weekends and holidays. Your device must have a camera with at least two megapixels in resolution.
