Janet Dean

Retail Market Manager

At Synovus since 2008, Janet M. Dean has almost 30 years of banking experience. The married mother of two is extremely familiar with Southwest Georgia, as she was born in Camilla and has lived in Cairo since 1992. While she thought she was going to become a nurse as a child, she instead ended up in banking and found herself helping people in a different way than she originally thought she would. “Banking has been such a rewarding career and I have found that Synovus is not like any other institution I have worked for,” she says. “The way Synovus supports and cares for its team members and customers is what drives me to be the best Retail Market Manager I can be,” she says. “I love making connections with our customers who become more like family.” When not working she enjoys hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors and near water. She holds a Gold Certificate from Ignite Leadership as well.
