Pet Party Palace finds a best-in-show financial partner in Synovus
When the weather turns rainy or the heat makes a dog park unbearable, pet owners in Macon now have an option they never had before. Pet Party Palace, founded by Lateefah Conner, is designed to give pets and their people private, unrushed time together. Everything runs on reservations, so each visit feels personal.
Inside are colorful backdrops, agility hoops, ball pits and elevated self-wash stations stocked with pet-friendly shampoo and towels. Families can book play sessions, schedule portraits or celebrate birthdays. Dogs are the regulars, but Lateefah welcomes cats, ferrets and even snakes. The concept is polished yet practical, and above all, joyful.
“I wanted a place where pets and their people could have real quality time,” Lateefah says. “Calm, safe, fun. A place that feels like peace.”
“I wanted a place where pets and their people could have real quality time… Calm, safe, fun. A place that feels like peace.”
Lateefah’s vision was born from a lifelong duality. As a child, she was the quiet girl with a dissection kit, captivated by biology and certain she’d become a veterinarian. Today, she’s the bold woman with blue hair who rides a Harley and poses with tigers in Thailand. As a wife, mother, entrepreneur and community advocate, Lateefah’s journey has always balanced enterprise with service.
She’d already chosen Synovus as her banking partner when, on the day of Pet Party Palace’s ribbon cutting, she met Lisa Harewood, retail market manager. That moment marked a turning point.
“Lisa was visible from the start,” Lateefah recalls. “She showed up, asked questions and genuinely wanted to understand what I was building. I could tell she wasn’t just checking a box—she was invested in my success.”
While Synovus had already earned Lateefah’s trust, Lisa became a true partner in her growth. She helped Lateefah secure business credit, enabling her to invest in marketing and boost bookings. More than that, Lisa became a steady advocate, bringing Lateefah to networking events, connecting her with other small-business owners and sharing her story throughout the community.
“Lisa makes me feel like I’m not doing this alone,” Lateefah says. “With her, I don’t feel like a transaction. I feel like I have a true partner.”
Pet Party Palace is still young, but it is already thriving. Families are embracing the idea, memberships are building and expansion feels possible. Like its founder, the business carries both strength and joy, designed for moments of peace and made bold enough to last. With Synovus by her side, Lateefah is ready for whatever comes next.
