If you are a federal employee or a contractor impacted by the government shutdown, we're dedicated to helping you navigate these challenges. Here are some of the ways we’re helping:
- If you are assessed a monthly deposit account service fee during this time, we can refund the fee. Visit your local branch or call us at 888-SYNOVUS (796-6887) for assistance.
- If you have a CD and need to access funds prior to maturity, we can waive the early withdrawal penalty fees. Visit your local branch for assistance.
- If your account is eligible & enrolled in Overdraft Privilege, it can cover checks, automatic bill payments, ACH and other reoccurring transactions using your checking account or debit card number if funds are not available in your account up to your overdraft limit. - Consumer and Small Business credit card payment relief is available to impacted customers who qualify. Call us at 888-SYNOVUS (796-6887) and say “personal credit card” or “business credit card” to discuss your options.
- Loan payment relief is available to impacted customers who qualify. Please contact your banker directly or call 888-SYNOVUS (796-6887).
