Introducing Synovus Accelerate AR RDC
We are pleased to share that your Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) service will soon be enhanced with the introduction of Synovus Accelerate ARTM RDC. As the latest addition to our comprehensive integrated receivables suite, Accelerate AR RDC will provide a number of benefits for your organization, including an intuitive user experience, extended deposit cutoff time for same-day credit, and consolidated pricing. This upgrade is part of our commitment to provide your business with enhanced solutions and ensure your receivables management experience is efficient and user-friendly.
What to expect
Additional communication: We will share additional information, including service transition timing, via email from TechnicalSupport@RDC.synovus.com. Please add this address to your email contacts to ensure receipt.
A concierge service migration experience: You will be invited to use our online scheduling link to reserve your 30-minute Zoom appointment with a Synovus Migration Specialist. The Specialist will ensure you have everything needed to begin using your enhanced Accelerate AR RDC service. Appointments will fill up quickly, so it is important to schedule your appointment as soon as you receive the invitation.
New consolidated pricing structure: We are introducing a consolidated pricing structure that is easy to understand and manage. The new structure will only include three line items – a monthly maintenance fee and a per scanner fee both assessed to your RDC billing account, and an items scanned fee that will be applied to your deposit account. To transition your pricing, we are conducting a personalized review of your historical activity and fees, which may result in a slight change in your monthly pricing.
How to prepare
Verify administrative permissions. You, or your company’s representative(s) working with our Synovus Migration team, must have administrative permissions on your computer to install software. Please verify your administrative permissions and ensure your passwords are current prior to your Zoom appointment to avoid rescheduling. We also recommend that an IT specialist from your organization be available for the appointment if possible.
Download desired historical reports. Download and save any historical reports from your remote deposit capture application that you wish to retain prior to your appointment.
Other things to know
A self-upgrade option is available. If you are familiar with scanner driver software installation, you may choose to perform the upgrade without assistance. We will provide a link to additional information, including self-install guides and how-to videos, to support this option via email.
Synovus Gateway user access will be required. After your service update to Accelerate AR RDC is complete, you will have convenient single-sign on access to Accelerate AR RDC through the Synovus GatewaySM digital banking portal. Your Migration Specialist will provide additional details to help set up your Gateway user profile required for access if you are not already accessing your remote deposit service using the Gateway portal.
Deposit check images will be accessible 24/7 in Synovus Gateway. If you are still receiving paper statements, it is important to know that your remote deposit check images will not appear on your printed statements moving forward. However, all deposit check images will be easily accessible online 24/7 through electronic statements in Gateway. We recommend enrolling all your organizational accounts in paperless statements to avoid the $5 paper statement fee, optimize account visibility, and help reduce unnecessary security vulnerabilities. Your Migration Specialist is happy to provide enrollment instructions.
There will be a new email address for deposit confirmations. Following your service migration, we will send deposit confirmations from: confirms@acceleraterdc.synovus.com. Please save this email address to your contacts/safe sender list to ensure receipt.
User resources will be available. Your Migration Specialist will share where to find helpful resources like how-to and troubleshooting videos and user guides to support use of Accelerate AR RDC and for ongoing reference.
