Synovus appoints new Atlanta advisory board member

ATLANTA, Aug. 5, 2025 — Synovus has appointed business leader Matt Ramsey to the Atlanta advisory board, effective July 16.

Ramsey is a partner with Warner, Hooper and Ramsey, P.C. Before starting his law practice, he worked in public service as a staff member for United States Congressman Mac Collins. Ramsey was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2007, where he served for 10 years. He is a member of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, having recently served as chairman of the board. He also serves on the boards of Piedmont Fayette Hospital and Fayette County’s first craft brewery, Line Creek Brewing Company. Ramsey is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and Georgia State University College of Law.
