Synovus promotes Lisa Killingsworth to Jasper market executive

COLUMBUS, Ga., June 30, 2025 — Synovus has promoted Lisa Killingsworth to market executive in Jasper, Alabama. In her new role, she leads the banking team in delivering personalized financial solutions to clients and supports the bank’s community outreach initiatives. She reports to Nelson Bean, Alabama division CEO for Synovus.

“Lisa is a proven leader with extensive banking experience and a long-standing commitment to Synovus, our clients and the community,” Bean said. “As the needs of the region and our clients evolve, Lisa and her team will continue to focus on strengthening relationships and enhancing the financial well-being of individuals, businesses and the Jasper community.”

Killingsworth has more than 30 years of banking industry experience with Synovus, having served in various leadership roles in commercial lending and audit. She assumed advancing responsibilities as the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act officer for Alabama before serving as a commercial lender.

A Walker County native, Killingsworth serves on the boards of Jasper Main Street and Jasper Industrial Development Board. She previously served as president of the Pilot Club of Jasper and board member of the Walker County Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of the Leadership Walker County program. Killingsworth earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a graduate of the Alabama Banking School.
