Synovus Names T. Michael Goodrich II to Birmingham Advisory Board

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., November 16, 2021 — Synovus today announced the appointment of T. Michael Goodrich II to its Birmingham Advisory Board. Goodrich is the principal of First Avenue Ventures, LLC., a company committed to growing businesses in Alabama.

Goodrich has served as the principal of First Avenue Ventures since 2014. Prior to First Avenue Ventures, Goodrich practiced law and worked in the Birmingham office of Bradley Arant Rose & White, LLP from 1997 to 2001, before founding Goodrich Law Firm, LLC, later Red Mountain Law Group, in 2003.

Goodrich serves on the boards of Alabama Outdoors, Slate XP, the University of Alabama Birmingham Athletic Association, and Timberline, LLC. He is a former chair of the board of the Freshwater Land Trust, served as a member of the Indian Springs School Board of Governors, and is a graduate of Leadership Birmingham.

Goodrich earned his undergraduate degree from Trinity University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama.
