Chuck Garnett

C.W. "Chuck" Garnett

Division CEO

Born in Columbia and raised in Charleston, Chuck knows South Carolina from the mountains to the coast—a fitting background for the leader who oversees our statewide presence. He began his banking career in 1984 and joined NBSC (now known as Synovus) in 1993. Over the years, his responsibilities have expanded from Upstate Regional Executive to Division CEO. “At Synovus,” Chuck says, “our bankers believe in giving back to their communities as well as playing a role in helping their communities grow and prosper.” He’s a perfect example of this philosophy in action.
