Daniel Morgan

Daniel Morgan is a Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager at Synovus Trust and has worked in investment management since 1987. Daniel earned a BS degree in Business from the University of Florida and an MBA in Finance from the University of Miami. Prior to joining Synovus Trust Company in 2004, he served as senior portfolio manager at Noble Capital Management. Daniel started his career with Kidder Peabody on Wall Street in 1987. Daniel specializes in the Technology Sector and Macro Market Trends. He works with a team of investment professionals that manages assets in excess of $14.2 billion.

In addition to his extensive experience as a Portfolio Manager, Daniel makes regular appearances on major financial television networks, including: CNBC’s “Squawk Box”, “Squawk on the Street”, “Squawk Alley” “Power Lunch” and “Closing Bell”, CNN’s “Money Line”, PBS’s “Nightly Business Report”, Bloomberg’s “Day Break Americas”, Fox Business’s “Varney & Co.” & “Maria in the Morning” and Business News Network’s “Morning Call”. He also is a frequent guest on nationally broadcast radio stations, such as Bloomberg Radio, National Public Radio, San Francisco’s “BizNews1” and Boston’s “WBIX-1260”. His market comments frequently appear in national recognized financial publications that include: America Press, Wall Street Journal, CNN.com, Handelsblatt, Barrons, Reuters, New York Times, Investor’s Business Daily, Business Insider, Bloomberg, and TheStreet.com.

On a personal side Daniel enjoys Classical and American History, Art, Hiking and International Travel. He has toured archeological sites throughout Italy, Greece and Sicily. He is also a member of the following organizations: Atlanta Gator Club, Shepherd Center Society, Atlanta Young Republicans, Sons of American Revolution, Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the Jane Austen Society.
