Important dates and action items:
Now: Verify contact information to ensure receipt of communications and Gateway access information.
This is a critical step to ensure receipt of your Synovus Gateway Login ID. Log in to the BBC to verify your contact information on file and make any needed updates by April 11. Note: Valid phone number and email address are required to receive a one-time Secure Access Code via text message, email, or voice call to access Synovus Gateway. Your business email address is also required to receive critical communications, including your Synovus Gateway Login ID.
Now: Delete outdated user information to ensure only active user information and valid databases transition.
Administrators should review user information and permissions within BBC to verify service and account access is properly aligned, delete outdated information, and delete user information for those who no longer have access. Also, if applicable to the services you use, delete payment databases and recipient information no longer in use.
April 19: Verify receipt of your Gateway Login ID
If you have not received your login ID by April 19 via email, please call Customer Care at 1-888-SYNOVUS (796-6887) and say “Gateway” to request it.
April 22: Readiness Checklist deadline and online banking deactivation
Deadline to complete preparedness actions outlined on the Readiness Checklist. BBC and BIB access will be deactivated at 6:00 p.m. ET on Friday, April 22, as we transition your accounts and history.
April 25: Log in to Synovus Gateway
Navigate to synovus.com and log in to Synovus Gateway using the Login ID provided to you via email and the instructions provided on the Readiness Checklist (page 2) to get started. Also complete the action items outlined for April 25.
