NBSC Barks to the Park and Raises $945
Columbia, SC - Recently, NBSC formed a team called the “Money Mutts” to walk in Pawmetto Lifeline’s Bark to the Park Walk for Animals.
The goal of Pawmetto Lifeline is to raise enough money to turn the Midlands region of South Carolina into a no-kill community. This means no healthy, adoptable pet will be euthanized simply because it is homeless. This would save the lives of more than 14,000 animals in the Columbia area annually.
The team encouraged friends, family members, and team members to make donations in support of the walk. The Money Mutts were one of the top teams, raising $945, contributing to the event’s total of more than $100,000.
