Coastal Bank and Trust Helps "Strike Out Cancer"
Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola office of Coastal Bank and Trust was one of several corporate donors who helped raise funds to fight cancer through the fourth annual Tate High School “Strike Out Cancer” softball game.
Every member of the Tate softball team and their opponents from Pace High School wore pink and played for someone who had been impacted by cancer. Heather Thomason, daughter of Treasury Management Sales Analyst Kim Thomason, attends Tate. She played for Kim’s friend and fellow team member, Jennifer Martin, a Credit Analyst with the Pensacola office who has battled cancer.
No admission fee is charged for the game and all donations go to “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer,” an organization which assists cancer patients by providing transportation, wigs, food, or other necessities men and woman may need as they fight this battle. Thanks to generous fans, the game raised more than $6,000.
